Short and long Tongue Shown mounted on Floor
Short tongue used to mount with coupler mate
Long tongue is used to couple trailer to trailer
Lift up back of trailer - insert tongue in slot - release trailer and the trailers are joined.

Short tongue mounted on trailer is placed under the tongue mounted on the coupler mate.
Slide together until the mounting pin enters the 5th wheel plate.

Truck with swivel plate and locking clip in place.
Note the locking clip is off center forming a ledge.
The rear wall of the trailer rests on this ledge
If the pin for the tongue breaks turn the locking plate around and you have a new pin.
